Tyson Manager Settles Bias Suit Over Six-Day, 70-Hour Workweek

Tyson Fresh Meat Inc. and a former production supervisor who said she was illegally denied a “normalized schedule” as a job accommodation for her anxiety disorder settled her lawsuit, Tennessee federal court records show.


Jacquelyn Veith and the company filed a notice of settlement with the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on Sept. 9. The parties “reached a resolution of this matter at a private mediation” and anticipate finalizing their agreement within 30 days, the notice said.
