Permit issued for new
additions at Select Foods

A building permit with a valuation of $960,000 has been
issued by the city to Hormel Foods Corp.,
This is one of 59 building permits issued by the city’s
inspection department during July. The listed valuation for those permits is $1,868,764.
This increases the total valuation for permits during the first seven months of
the year to $7,806,974.
At the end of July 2007 the city’s report shows a total
valuation of $17,509,905 for building permits issued.

The Freeborn County Planning and Zoning Office issued 23
building permits with a listed valuation of $417,029. This increases the
estimated valuation for county-issued permits to $4,522,890 for the first seven
months of the year.
Four of the county building permits issued during July were
for home additions.
